Robert Glick AIA, LEED AP
Bob believes that the site informs what a building can be, and that developing a personal connection through client collaboration is key to making a functional building. Adept at complex construction issues, Bob oversees the construction of many of KMA's projects; he also manages historic restoration and sustainable design. As a project manager he led the award-winning phased historical exterior restoration of Philadelohia Cit Hall for half of its 10-vear duration as well as the sustainable design of West Philadelphia High School, which achieved LEED Gold status. Bob recently served as project manager on the adaptive reuse of the historic train shed as part of the Lincoln Square redevelopment.
Before training as an architect, Bob had a career as an artist and furniture maker, through which he acquired a lifelong appreciation for craftsmanship and the practical realities of construction.
He has exhibited his work at a number of galleries.
Bob holds a Master of Architecture from University of Pennsylvania, and is a LEED Accredited Professional. Bob also holds a Master of Fine Arts in sculpture from George Washington University and the Brooklyn Museum Art School. Outside the practice, Bob serves as a consultant to non-profit community, arts and cultural organizations. Working with the Association for Public Art, he collaborated on the installation of the Martin Puryear sculpture,
"Big Bling," in Fairmount Park.
