With its 878,455 SF expansion, the Pennsylvania Convention Center will become the largest convention facility on the East Coast. The proposed expansion will provide a dramatic transparent façade at the new main entrance on the North Broad Street Avenue of the Arts. The design gives new life to the historic 20-story Liberty Title Tower, incorporated as a beacon at Broad and Arch Streets. Kelly/Maiello is one of the three architecture firms designing the expansion, the same team that designed the original award-winning project. Kelly/Maiello is responsible for the design for preservation and adaptive reuse of the historic corner buildings and for design of the Arch Street concourse and the 13th Street tunnel.
