Northwest Regional Library
The Free Library of Philadelphia | Chelten and Green Streets

Extensive renovation of the 25,000 SF regional library in the Germantown section of Philadelphia incorporates new computer technology to give patrons and staff access to the internet and specialized databases. Relocation of the 17-foot long sculptural dragon creates a new focal point for the entire library. The new preschool center continues the medieval theme and has its own educational computers. Other renovations include new furniture, new stack arrangement and finish repairs.
