First United Methodist Church of Germantown Philadelphia PA The First United Church of Germantown, completed in 1898, is a historic church structure of Holmesburg granite and Indiana limestone trim that sits prominently at the northwest corner of Germantown Avenue and High Street. The extensive church complex consists of the main sanctuary and tower, the chapel, and three other buildings for church offices, auditorium, and education respectively. Kelly/Maiello provided a comprehensive building conditions survey and assessment with cost estimate of architectural components, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and life safety conditions, and accessibility as applicable in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Universal Construction Code (UCC). |
