Merion Elementary School

The Merion Elementary School renovation is part of a district-wide modernization program. The project includes an addition to the 81,000 SF historically significant building to house a new gymnasium and after-school space, improved outdoor recreation facilities, and parking. Interior renovations provide a more generous library, new mechanical and fire alarm systems, computer wiring to each classroom, and a new computer laboratory. A new secure and handicapped accessible entrance leads to an expanded administrative office suite. The project has received an historic preservation award from the Lower Merion Township Historical Commission.
