Franklin Learning Center

Kelly/Maiello provided architectural services for The Franklin Learning Center, a new 244,000 SF magnet high school for 1,000 students to be located in North Philadelphia. Design features included the latest computer and distance-learning technologies in three self-contained mini-schools, a food court style cafeteria, 1,000-seat gymnasium, 500-seat auditorium with full professional fly for stage productions, information management center, art center, classrooms and administrative spaces. The building was designed for year-round use by both students and the neighboring community. The project was completed through Construction Documentation.
